Yesterday was awesome, today really wasn't (especially when you consider that all the sickness was technically today). I checked into my hotel early around noon, but since I hadn't got a lot of sleep the previous night I pretty much just slept all day. The hotel upgraded me to a room on the corner of the building with incredible ocean views on two sides. I loved having a private shower and a real bed, since the last hostel had remarkably thin mattresses and sheets. If I had to be recovering from a sickness in any environment, I suppose this is where I'd want it to be. I barely ate anything all day; my appetite never really recovered and I generally felt rather gross. No throwing up at least, but that's little comfort.

Andre came over that night and we got dinner, but something had changed about her. Not sure what but the outgoingness and positivity of yesterday were gone, and dinner ended up being a fairly awkward affair. It didn't help that I started feeling really terrible halfway through my sandwich. Everything was ridiculously overpriced (though I suppose that's to be expected at a hotel like this) and, to be frank, not especially good. At least it was free.

Bosnia tomorrow, I'm thinking Mostar. Not a large city but a very pretty one that I think would be cool to see before visiting Sarajevo since it's on the way. There are no rail links between Croatia and Bosnia, so I'll have to take the bus. Split has some really cool stuff, but the free things do seem pretty limited and I covered just about all of them in that first day. I could take a ferry out to one of the islands or something but those don't seem to come cheap. I'm sad to leave such a beautiful place behind in a way, but I do feel that constant pressure to keep moving and exploring. I still don't feel great even as I'm writing this, so hopefully the bus ride is ok.
